Our 2017 Liturgical Calendar is inspired and informed by the Ordinary Form* of the Catholic liturgy. The full, 365-day calendar year is represented on a single 18×18″, heavyweight paper. (Frames are not included in this listing.)
Seasonal liturgical colors are noted in color around the outer rim of the circle.
Holydays of obligation are noted near the center of the circle.
From the first Sunday of Advent through the last week in Ordinary Time, the Catholic Church celebrates the full “mystery of Christ from Incarnation and Nativity through his Ascension, to Pentecost and the expectation of the blessed hope of the coming of the Lord” (Catechism 1194).
By choosing the live the Christian liturgical year we are offered a chance to encounter the Lord personally, which in turn can be an outward expression of faith to others.
*Eventually we hope to provide the Extraordinary Form.
