Saint Maximilian Kolbe soft doll, minimally styled and ready to be treasured. Both as a prayer companion and daily friend, this piece is a wonderful way to teach little ones about the incredible witness of faith and sacrifice shown by this modern saint.
St. Maximilian Kolbe was a Polish priest who was martyred in the Nazi concentration camps of WWII, saving the life of a fellow prisoner who had a family. He is the patron saint of families, those in prison, and the pro-life movement. His feast day is celebrated on August 14th.
Made of deep grey and striped linen/cotton, with felt and hand stitched detailing in the halo, face, and patch. His face is made with 100% merino wool felt, will resist pilling and stay soft!
Cuddly yet strong, he is made to last and will become a beloved part of any child’s collection. Would make a unique First Communion, Baptism, or Patron Saint feast day gift!
Roughly 9 inches tall, 4.5 inches wide.
