My children are energetic, there are many of them and it’s difficult to keep them reverent and quiet (biggest understatement in recorded history).  Therefore, we haven’t made it to many Stations of the Crosses at the church.

I bought a set of prints from the local Catholic store to do an at-home version, but they didn’t quite have a look that appealed to my senses (or the children’s).  And looking around, there just weren’t a lot of at-home choices available.

I took up painting and for Lent, thought I’d try to do a set of Stations myself.  I like the Byzantine style and I like folk, so they’re a bit of a combination of the two.

And they’ve engaged my children, which is a very good thing.  It’s not a quiet at-home Stations, but who cares?  There are no strangers to give us nasty looks because of all the noise.  ;-)

Hang them temporarily with Blu Tack or hang them from a line of twine.   You could also buy a plank of wood, some Modge Podge and Varnish and DIY your own set of Stations on wood if the pre-made one is out of your budget.  You could buy two sets and have a memory game!   Or just display them one at a time as you pray each stations.  That’s the beauty of having your own stations, you can do them however you want.  :-)
