DIY Flower Crown Making Kit for May Crowning

Make your own crown of roses with this easy DIY Flower Crown Kit. This kit contains all the supplies you’ll need to make one flower crown with artificial flowers and greenery in any size you wish. A perfect project for Mother’s Day, birthday parties, photo shoots, or make it smaller to fit your statue of the Blessed Mother and hold a May Crowning ceremony at church or with your friends to honor Our Lady.

Developed and tested by the same big and little artists behind our best selling Wooden Pysanky Kits, these flower crowns come with step-by-step, full color instructions with photographs so it’s almost like having an art teacher in your home to help you. Before we release any DIY kit, I give the written instructions and a box of supplies to whichever of my kids have volunteered to be guinea pigs, and then I don’t help them, I just watch silently as they read the directions and figure it out. Then they give me feedback, and I adjust the instructions or add photos for anything they had trouble with.

Claire (age 10) says someone “could probably do this flower crown with grown-up help from ages 9-11 but by themselves age 12 and over.” She did it by herself a week shy of her tenth birthday so I guess she’s rounding up? Ha!

All of our seasonal craft kits are made to last, so they ship in a sturdy box designed to store the final product when not in use. The flower crown kits ship in a box that is either 12x12x2 inches (pictured) or 9.5×6.5×2.5 inches.
