Handmade Our Lady of Czestochowa Pendant is encased in glasslike resin. The pendant includes a red tube of water from the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France and a pewter finish Our Lady of Czestochowa medal. Our Lady of Czestochowa, or Jasna Gora, is the patroness and protectress of Poland. This painting of our Blessed Mother is said to have been painted by St. Luke the Evangelist on a piece of wood cut from the table of the Last Supper. The image went from Jerusalem to Constantinople, the Ukraine, and to Jasna Gora, Poland, where it remains to this day. The Polish people have turned to Our Lady of Czestochowa at various times in history and have counted on her protection often. She is a symbol of their faith and hope. This pendant is surrounded by a stainless-steel bezel and comes with a 20-inch chain, with a large bale to make adding your favorite chain easy. This keepsake is handcrafted with love in a small town in Northern California, USA, by Dolormata Designs.
