St. Kateri Tekakwitha Pendant Necklace Lily of the Mohawks Native American Saint
Created by Dolormata Designs$25.00
Handmade St. Kateri Tekakwitha Pendant is encased in glasslike resin. The pendant includes a blue tube of water from the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France and a pewter finish St. Kateri Tekakwitha medal. St. Kateri is the first Native American saint in the United States. She was born in 1656, in the Mohawk village of Ossernenon to an Algonquin mother and Mohawk father. She was orphaned and scarred by smallpox as a girl and took a vow of chastity. She is the patron of the environment and ecology. This pendant is surrounded by a stainless-steel bezel and comes with a 20-inch chain, with a large bale to make adding your favorite chain easy. This keepsake is handcrafted with love in a small town in Northern California, USA, by Dolormata Designs.
