The Raphael Mask

Description

The Raphael Mask is a hand-made face mask to protect you and the people around you from the spread of germs.
Features:
• Triple-layer protection: The outer layer of fabric is cotton or a poly-cotton blend. The inner filter is a layer of polypropylene, upcycled from reusable shopping totes, which is very similar to the material that the N95 mask is made from. The innermost layer is a breathable soft white cotton fabric.
• Adjustable nose wire: There is a piece of rust-resistant wire inserted into the top edge of your mask so you can form it to fit snugly across the bridge of your nose.
• Adjustable ear bands: The ear bands have been upcycled from soft T-shirt material. To adjust the bands to be larger, slide the black rubber bands closer together. To adjust them to be smaller, slide the black rubber bands farther apart.
• Adjusting for air gaps near the ears: If you find that your mask bulges away from your face at the point where the ear bands have been inserted through the folded fabric, try this simple fix. Push the ends of the fabric fold (where the ear bands come out) closer together, until the fabric fold becomes gathered. This should eliminate the bulge. If the gathered fabric is too loose and slips back into its straight position, then gather it again to where it’s comfortable and hand-sew a few stitches into each end of the fabric fold, right through the ear band.
• Washing: The Raphael Mask is 100% reusable. After each use, run it through your washing and drying machine using regular detergent, on the warm setting.
