Digital Reproduction of my oil on panel painting “Mary the Chalice”. The print is a professionally printed giclee printed on Hahnemuhle Photo Rag 308 paper which is an archival print paper with the appearance of watercolor paper and provides over 100 years of lightfast permanence.

The print is signed by the artist and will be shipped in a tube and ready for framing.

The title comes from a line of a medieval hymn dedicated to Mary, “Mary the Chalice, Christ the Saving Blood”. A copy of the poem is included with each print. This medieval hymn explaining the role of Mary in God’s plan of salvation refers to Mary as a chalice: “Mary the Chalice, Christ the saving blood.” Mary was chosen for the greatest mission ever given: to be the God-bearer, a vessel who bore Jesus into the world. Mary is the container, the chalice, through which the Father chose to hold the Savior of the world and deliver Him to us, His people.
