Welcome to my store where you'll find the most exquisite handmade crucifixes in America. While the Vatican gift store has a wonderful selection of crucifixes, I believe that our handmade creations are equally beautiful and unique. Just kidding here. I do not need the Vatican to be upset with me. In all sincerity, I have come to rely on the exceptional craftsmanship of 19th century French artisans to create the corpus of Christ that is truly one-of-a-kind. I have found what I beleive to be the best and recast them using the finest pewter available.
My passion for creating these works of art began in Logan, Utah after my baptism in 1999. While it may not have been the best market for crucifixes, it was truly rewarding to share the message of Christ's passion with those who were open to receiving it during church tours under the life-sized crucifix in our church.
Fast forward to today, I'm still making crucifixes in Diamond Springs, California. I believe that every home should have a beautiful crucifix as a reminder of the most important aspects of life. As Jesus himself said, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." A crucifix is the most powerful symbol that embodies the message of Christ and all it represents - Love itself, joy, suffering, and service.
If we all embraced the message of Christ and saw the symbol of the crucifix as containing all the answers to a fulfilling life, we could create a world that's closer to heaven on earth. Although this may not be a reality, we can still love those who don't share our beliefs and make the world a better place, one crucifix at a time.
