All my life I have had a fondness for quotes. Even when I was little I would write out quotes and tape them onto my bedroom walls for daily inspiration. I always loved the act of writing and would look forward to simply addressing envelopes, a chore that causes most people to groan. It was not until 2014 a friend inspired me to look into the ART of handwriting and take a calligraphy class. I was captivated by the idea of turning my beloved quotes into art. I have been drawing since I was little—such is the story for most people, but I continued on with it while my classmates and friends went onto cooler endeavors;-)—and in 2012 I took my first watercolor class. Once I started combining these two newfound passions of mine, I knew I had tapped into a deeper longing in my heart: to share my art and spread reminders of God’s love and mercy through such art.
I combine inspiring religious quotes with calligraphy and art. Each piece is hand-painted and hand-lettered by myself. My art can be used as gifts for a myriad of events—weddings, birthdays, Christmas, Mother’s Day, baptisms, confirmations, or to simply let a loved one know you are thinking of them.
