Jesus wanted to get a buzz going about the Resurrection, so he gave a taste of it at the Transfiguration. He met up with Moses,who represented the law, and Elijah, who represented the prophets. Jesus is the fulfillment of both the law and the prophets and he’s the only person who can get away with wearing white year round.
