Advent Kit for Little Ones

Description

Young children will enjoy learning about Advent traditions and customs from around the world as they pray, sing, & do simple “mess free” crafts & activities in preparation for Jesus’s birth. Kit contains one **pre-made baby Jesus felt doll + materials for 5 activities:

**Mother Mary felt doll (paper cone-body, wood craft stick with wool ball- head, large felt square- dress, small felt square-mantle)
*Advent candle holders & felt wreath(four 4 in.soy wax candles, glass stones,glue dots,12 felt holly leaves&berries, 2 pipe cleaners)
*Special Seed Sprouting (seeds in unbleached cotton drawstring pouch, cotton balls)
* Straw in the Creche (wood craft sticks, glue dots, mini crate, straw(raffia)
* Las Posadas Maracas (plastic maracas w/ wooden handles, washi tape) (not pictured).

**SPECIAL NOTE!: Please specify in your order comments which skin tone (clove, cinnamon, cream, caramel) for baby Jesus & Mother Mary you’d like, & I’ll do my best to accomodate based on availability. if not specified, you will receive caramel :)
** All boxes ordered at least one day prior to 11/20 will ship by that date.

Digital file access code for “Advent Traditions Around the World” will be sent both in the kit & via e-mail by 11/20. Later orders will ship in 1-2 business days.
Digital file includes 30 pages including: the origin and history of each tradition, instructions for using the materials to participate in the custom, related activities for celebrating the tradition & suggested prayers, scripture readings, & songs which tie into many of the traditions.
