Ivory & Gold Sacrifice Beads

I had never heard of sacrifice beads before reading Helen Walker Homan’s St. Thérèse and the Roses, but they immediately captured my fancy. My mother does something along those lines during the Advent season, where if we make a sacrifice during the season of Advent, we get to put up a small purple- or rose-colored ornament; otherwise, the tree remains bare. It never hurts to have a reminder =)
