Description

– Our soap recipe is cleansing while still being highly conditioning thanks to the inclusion of unrefined shea butter, and cocoa butter.

– The citric acid in our recipe reduces the formation of soap scum!

– As always, we only use phthalate and paraben free fragrances and our products are packaged in 100% biodegradable shrink film for their protection and yours.

– Handmade soaps will be happier and last longer if you use a draining soap dish to allow them to dry between uses.

– Our soaps are made with high quality, cosmetically safe ingredients. If you have particularly sensitive skin, we recommend you try a small patch test on your inner arm prior to use.

– GUELPH RESIDENTS get $10 off shipping when you use code GUELPH10. Your purchase will be hand delivered by yours truly.

Hi!  My name is Janina Piva and I love soap!  I am also an avid knitter and devout Catholic.  I am a mother of two, a catechist and a soap maker in Guelph, Ontario Canada.

I’m the kind of person who changes my scarf (and bathroom towels, and soap, and Church clothes, and, well… you get the idea) to match the liturgical seasons, because I find it keeps me rooted in the prayer cycle of the church.  I was always frustrated that I could never find soaps or bath products to match my bathroom decor (not to mention a good set of Advent candles in the fall, but I digress) so I took matters into my own hands making soaps for Advent, Our Lady of Guadalupe, the Immaculate Conception, Christmas, Lent, St. Joseph, Easter, Divine Mercy, First Communions, St. Francis and the list goes on!

Because I don’t always make the same soaps all the time, I am very open to requests and suggestions and am more than happy to try to accommodate your Patron Saints and favourite feasts! (soap does take 6 weeks to cure and be ready to sell, so keep that in mind)
