The finished angel is approximately 4 inches tall, not including the hook.

Difficulty level: advanced beginner/intermediate

Materials:
2.75mm hook
Yarn (I use cotton yarn, weight 4): skin color of choice, hair color of choice, white, red, and gold (I actually used an acrylic yarn for the gold parts because I liked the color better than the golds available in cotton).
Polyester Fiber Stuffing
2 8 mm safety eyes (Safety eyes are not recommended for small kids. You may use black thread to embroider eyes if you prefer).
A small piece of embroidery thread, yarn, or twine to make the angel into an ornament
Stitch marker (to keep track of rows)
Finishing needle (to sew parts together, embroider nose, and weave in ends
Optional: blush, embroidery thread for eyelashes, pins to put pieces in place before sewing

Working in rounds
Working in a spiral
Single crochet (sc)
Slip stitch (sl st)
Double crochet (dc)
Increase (inc.)
Invisible decrease (dec.) (for crocheting in the round)
Working on both sides of a chain
Working in front loops only and back loops only (FLO and BLO)
Color changing
Crocheting two pieces together (you will have to make heart tips and join them together sc crochets, and then continue onto the base of the heart).
Crocheting two ends together
Sewing amigurumi parts together
Finishing off (f.o.) and weaving/tucking in ends
