Handmade Catholic goods made from high quality leather and/or salvaged materials. I primarily work in leather to bring you hand bound journals, Magnificat covers, breviary covers, and other assorted leather goods made from high quality leather. However I also work in salvage, which is taking discarded materials and items that were on the way to the landfill, and turning them into treasures for the home. There is no predicting what materials I will find to work with so no predicting what salvaged items i will have on hand, and no piece will ever have a duplicate. Even in salvage I usually incorporate leather into the process because its what I know. I don't do a lot of traditional leatherwork outside of book covers, you wont find belts and wallets in my store-- i like offbeat items, things you won't find anywhere else. I am a Catholic craftsman, that started crafting as a way to sustain myself after having a conversion experience while hitchhiking across various parts of the country, and that period in my life influences a lot of my current work--- from the fringes, wild, adventurous, and on fire with love of our Lord. It is my hope that my work not only aids you in the purpose for which it was created but also fostering an atmosphere of prayer in which the fulfilling of that purpose takes place.
