Did you know that the rubrics require the pins on the Easter Candle to have incense in them? Well, a couple years ago we got a frantic call from our priest who decided to do a little detective work and realized that the pins that came with their Easter candle did not visibly have any incense in them! We had to remedy this! We have made our incense pins with the greatest ratio of incense possible. The grains can typically be seen through the 100% natural beeswax that binds them together. Set of 5 pins.
To use: Prior to Holy Saturday, it is recommended to warm the nail with a lighter and insert into the Pascal Candle and removing it, making the 5 holes needed. This will make it easy to use at the Easter Vigil. Be aware that over handling of the pin will warm the wax and make it soft, risking the nail to push through.
