St. Francis of Assisi Pendant Necklace

Created by Dolormata Designs

Handmade St. Francis of Assisi Pendant encased in glasslike resin. The pendant includes a green tube of water from the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Lourdes, France and a pewter finish St. Francis of Assisi medal. St. Francis was born in 1181 to a wealthy merchant. He would give up his earthly wealth following a traumatic experience to walk a more austere path. He lived simply and preached the Gospel to everyone. He is considered the founder of all Franciscan orders. He received the stigmata, wounds of Christ crucified, during his life and suffered greatly until his death in 1226. He is the patron of animals, merchants (likely because of his father’s profession), and ecology. This pendant is surrounded by a stainless-steel bezel and comes with a 20-inch chain, with a large bale to make adding your favorite chain easy. This keepsake is handcrafted with love in a small town in Northern California, USA, by Dolormata Designs.
