Description
I thought of this flip around nativity after buying a little statue of pregnant Mary last Advent and putting her in the Nativity scene in place of not pregnant Mary. And then on Christmas Eve we replaced pregnant Mary with not pregnant Mary and baby Jesus. It was a big hit in the house!
Since I’m not a statue carver, I had to make-do with what I had. I painted the images and put their prints on a 2.5 X 2 X .5-ish block of wood painted brown. Pregnant Mary is on one side of the block and the Holy Family is on the other. All during Advent, display pregnant Mary and then on Christmas Eve, just flip her around and voila! The Holy Family. The Nativity is complete and a Merry Christmas is had by all.
This is two small prints mounted on either side of the same piece of wood. Please allow up to one week for artisaning.
