I start these earrings by punching the guitar picks from salvaged material like shampoo bottles, folder covers, and laundry jugs. (These used to be a school folder) Then I add beads and embellishments from my stash. Ta-da! Fun, upcycled accessories for the music fan in your life (or for yourself!)
These anchors are an antiqued gold color, hang from nickel-free earwires, and have been paired with natural colored shell beads to keep with the nautical them.
If you have any questions please ask – and check out my other listings for more guitar pick earrings!
Hebrews 6:19 “We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters the inner shrine behind the curtain”
I have enjoyed the arts my whole life – always sketching, writing, or making something. But it was 11 years ago, when I made my first rosary bracelet, that things really started to take off. Since then I have expanded into all kinds of jewelry and even further into other crafts. I live with my husband and six children in a “cozy” old house in the country. Life in rural NH with 6 kids is certainly an advetnure! When you are an active, creative family there is never a dull (rarely even a quiet) moment! I use this shop as motivation to keep doing creative things myself whenever possible and to force some order on the chaos :) Following this path not only allows me to nurture my own artistic talents, but also gives me the freedom to support my kids as they develop and nurture theirs.
